Reporting to the Elementary School Principal and Early Childhood coordinator, the ECE teacher will be joining a dynamic team of 28 top-notch ES professionals who teach (and learn!) in a beautiful facility where an international student body flourishes in a small class environment, averaging only 18-20 students. This position will be teaching 3 and 4 year-olds in TAISM's ECE 2 class.
The selected candidate will demonstrate proven ability to appropriately utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources for each area taught, and communicate with and obtain feedback from students in a manner that enhances student learning and understanding.

Accountabilities *Accurately demonstrates knowledge of the content area and approved curriculum *Comprehends the principles of student growth, development and learning, and applies them appropriately *Effectively utilizes student assessment techniques and procedures *Manages the educational setting in a manner that promotes positive student behavior and a safe and healthy environment *Works productively with colleagues, parents and community members *Demonstrates a willingness to examine and implement change as appropriate “Must Have” Please note: To be considered for this position, you must hold a valid, recognized teaching certificate. *Minimum of 3 yrs teaching experience, including demonstrate abilities in refining their craft *Experience working with a wide range of learning abilities, including ESL students *Bachelor's Degree *Licensure and experience in an American Early Childhood setting
