Job Description
The Math Department is responsible for the math education of students in grades 6 - 12. The courses taught by the Math Department include Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Discrete Math, Statistics, Precalculus, and Calculus. Two levels of math classes, regular paced and accelerated, both of which are college preparatory, are offered.

Requirements
A full-time teacher teaches five classes, usually with three preparations. The work year is 178 days and the work-week is 40 hours. Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred; teaching experience preferred; familiarity with TI calculators preferred; computer skills, including use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Geometer's Sketchpad preferred.
