Job Description |

|
The principal of Ethical Culture serves as one of four divisional principals and is part of the senior administrative team. The EC principal works with two assistant principals, one who oversees pre-k through 2nd and the other, 3rd-5th with a total enrollment of approximately 450 students. Requirements |

The successful candidate must be an experienced elementary school leader with strong classroom experience, and a background in progressive education who will inspire the faculty and students and wholeheartedly embrace the mission of the school. Ideally he/she will have strong speaking, writing and organizational skills, visionary ability, outstanding interpersonal skills, a collaborative yet clear and decisive style, background in curriculum development, a strong commitment to diversity and knowledge of best practices in an independent school. Experience working well with an active parent body is vital.
