High School / Middle School (HS/MS) Information Technology Teacher
TAISM is pleased to announce a (potential) new opportunity for a HS / MS Information Technology Teacher. We know that being an educator in the Overseas teaching market is not just about educational credentials and experience qualifications. If you're confident, flexible, and innovative - with an adventurous spirit - we want you to be a part of a team that creates the best possible learning environment for our students
Reporting to the High School Principal, the HS / MS Information Technology Teacher will be joining a dynamic team top-notch professionals who teach (and learn!) in beautiful facility where an International HS student body flourishes in a small class size environment, averaging only 18-20 students. The selected candidate will demonstrate their ability to appropriately utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources for each area taught, and communicate with and obtain feedback from students in a manner that enhances student learning and understanding. Key to your success will be your talent to recognize student diversity and create an atmosphere conducive to the promotion of positive student involvement and self-concept. The courses in the Middle School will be taught on a rotating trimester basis and in the High School on a semester basis. The primary focus of the IT Teacher is to teach courses as assigned by the principal, which aim to develop students' knowledge and skills in the application of IT. Additional responsibilities will include supervision of the computer lab when not teaching, assisting students during non-class time, assisting the Publications teacher and class in production of the school's newspaper and yearbook, and assisting other teachers and students who have signed up to use the computer lab.
