As a TAISM Physical Education (PE) and Health Teacher, you will join a dynamic team of five top-notch PE/Health professionals who teach (and learn!) in beautiful indoor and outdoor facilities. The school campus features 2 indoor competition-size sports halls, 25 meter teaching competition pool, regulation size grass sports pitch, and a full-size outdoor covered sports court. Our highly participative international student body flourishes in PE and sports activities.

Reporting to the Middle School Principal, the ideal candidate for this PE/Health teacher role has experience across a variety of age groups - ideally in Kindergarten through 12. You excel at skills-based educating on a physical scale, and demonstrate a proven ability to create skills-based learning experiences adapted to the capabilities of diverse learners. You have taught in activity units, respecting a variety of developmentally age-appropriate levels. You are also adept at differentiating with each class to develop students across all skill levels.

* 3 yrs minimum skills-based PE teaching experience in an American or overseas school curriculum * B.Sc. or B.Ed. * Solid understanding and experience employing NASPE standards for teaching * Experience teaching swimming and water safety

* Experience teaching Physical Education to a variety of grades from K-12 * Coaching experience * B.Sc. in PE and Health * Familiarity with AAHPERD programs and AAHE standards * Red Cross CPR certification * International teaching experience
