Brentwood School, a vibrant and diverse K-12 independent school is looking for a full-time teacher to teach 7th grade science from February 8 through May 14 for a faculty member who will be gone on maternity leave. We are looking for individuals from independent, public, private, or charter schools, with experience in teaching middle school students and preferably a degree in science and/or education.

The responsibilities include:

- four sections of a year-long integrated earth and life science class in the 7th grade

- service as a student advocate

- performing daily student supervision outside of the classroom

- advising a student organization

- managing and maintaining a laboratory, equipment, and materials
