Lawrence Academy seeks a full-time Director of Counseling to start August, 2017. The Director of Counseling will provide leadership and direction for the mental health services provided by the school. The Director of Counseling supports the emotional health and well-being of all students, evaluates and diagnoses students experiencing emotional difficulties, recommends and coordinates treatment, provides counseling services, and crisis intervention. In collaboration with health services and student life, the Director of Counseling will support a health and wellness education program and preventative services, which includes working with faculty and student leaders.

Evening, weekend, and residential duties will be discussed and determined as a part of the hiring process.
To apply for this position send a single PDF with resume and cover letter to Colin Igoe, Dean of Faculty, at email@example.com with the subject line “Director of Counseling.” No phone calls please.
