Located in the heart of Hollywood, The Episcopal School of Los Angeles is an independent, college-preparatory day school serving grades six through twelve.
ESLA’s middle school science program focuses on using an integrated approach to science, engineering, and robotics curricula as a vehicle for introducing and developing the science and classroom skills and love of science that students will need in upper school and beyond. Our classrooms live at the intersection of many teaching methods and, in addition to traditional academic practices, also regularly engage in the pondering of issues of social justice. We encourage our students to be engaged members of the scientific community as observers, tinkerers, researchers, and activists.
As a young school, working at ESLA is an amazing opportunity for someone with a strong hunger for a place to create new curriculum and programs. Your work will contribute to the formation of ESLA identity in science.
