Kent Place School is extending its search for a Director of Diversity to initiate, coordinate and support the school’s multi-faceted work as connected to our mission. We seek a leader with the creativity, courage, empathy, and wisdom to build on the good work already being done, envision what is possible and necessary, and implement change at the institutional, interpersonal and individual levels. The Director of Diversity will work independently and collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, families and trustees to nurture and strengthen a diverse, equitable, and culturally responsive learning community that reflects the values and mission of the school.
Located in Summit, NJ, Kent Place School is an all-girls K-12 independent, nonsectarian, college preparatory day school with a co-educational preschool. Our faculty is made up of a diverse group of women and men who are inspiring scholars and leaders of exemplary character. They have the expertise to inspire each student to achieve her full academic, physical and creative potential; to love learning; to gain confidence; to live responsibly; to lead; and to develop respect for herself and others in the global community. KPS seeks candidates who reflect these qualities themselves and who can make positive contributions to the collegial environment at the school.
This is a full-time, 12-month position ideally beginning August 21, 2017.
