The Meadowbrook School of Weston, a pre-kindergarten through 8th grade school located in Weston, MA, seven miles west of Boston, is seeking a teacher of middle school English to begin on August 28, 2017 through October 13, 2017. This opportunity is the result of a maternity leave. We seek candidates with teaching experience to teach three courses for grades 6, 7 and 8. Texts include: Yann Martel's Life of Pi, Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, Malala Yousafzai’s I Am Malala, London’s Call of the Wild and Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Experienced teacher of analytical writing is preferred. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; a master's degree is preferred. Familiarity with classroom uses of technology a plus.
