Position Summary: The Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving will be responsible for growing a comprehensive alumni program for Santa Fe Prep’s 1700+ alumni across the country and throughout the world, and strengthening relationships with them. The individual will also be responsible for growing a robust annual fund for non-major donors and prospects. This individual will work closely with the Director of Advancement, colleagues in the advancement office, as well as the Alumni Association Board to foster engagement, connections, and philanthropy. This position is full-time.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Growing an alumni program for the school’s 1,700+ alumni in order to increase alumni giving and involvement
Planning, administering, and managing all alumni programs, events and communications
Managing the annual alumni/Santa Fe Prep magazine
Identifying alumni major donors and prospects in collaboration with the Director of Advancement and Head of School
Planning, administering, and managing annual alumni holiday party and reunions
Administer a growing annual fund and implement innovative strategies for renewal and rejuvenation
Manage and implement publications such as Annual Reports, fundraising brochures and documents, annual magazine and others as needed
Steward annual giving, non-major, donors
Perform other duties as requested.

Demonstrated excellence in developing strategies for engaging, cultivating, successfully communicating with, soliciting and stewarding current and prospective donors;
Demonstrated success in planning events;
Demonstrated excellence in communications and strengthening relationships with constituents;
Exceptional organizational, analytical and communication skills;
Ability to participate in school events after school hours, including nights and weekends;
Bachelor’s degree required.
