Watkinson School, offering inventive teaching to Hartford and surrounding communities since 1881, seeks a full-time Accounts Payable Manager. The successful candidate will have experience with the specifics of the accounts payable function: invoice and check request processing, performing check runs, vendor management and other related duties. Additionally, an applicant should possess knowledge of basic accounting principles, skills with technology, strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. The Accounts Payable Manager plays an integral role in the smooth functioning of the Business Office and also assists in a variety of School-wide administrative tasks and projects.
Applicants should come with enthusiasm for working in a dynamic environment as a key member of an effective team. Successful candidates will have five years of accounts payable experience. Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree a plus.
