Reporting to the Chief Enrollment Management Officer, the Manager of Enrollment Events & Student Visit Experience will oversee the daily operations and administration of all components of the Admission Office’s on-campus and off-campus event and visitation programming intended for prospective, accepted and enrolled students and families. This individual will also oversee the planning and execution of specialized programming designed to educate key influencers about the educational opportunities available at The Baldwin School. The Manager of Enrollment Events & Student Visit Experience serves as the primary point of contact for prospective students and families communicating with the Admissions Office. This position requires exceptional customer service and communication skills to serve all internal and external departments and/or constituents.
Serve as primary resource for the direction and successful execution of events from inception to assessment. Events include, but are not limited to, open house events, on- and off-campus recruitment, yield and retention activities, daily visitations and receptions. This position will also research and identify new initiatives to expand services offered.
Support the execution of communication plans designed to meet event registration and attendance goals. Manage follow up communication for event and visit registrants and attendees.
Manage planning and preparation for each event including the scheduling of planning meetings, campus facility review and site visits, planning calendar, budget and communication with institutional stakeholders.
Oversee all assessment activities including event evaluation and enrollment reporting, measuring student persistence through enrollment. Analyze and implement improvements based on evaluation response.
Serve as primary point of contact for Admissions Office’s inbound telephone calls. Address questions or route incoming traffic as appropriate. Provide hospitality and reception to all guests visiting Baldwin’s Admissions Office.
Schedule all aspects of individual student and parent visits, including coordinating requested activities with campus departments and/or personnel, identifying student tour guides and hosts, parent and alumnae ambassadors, visitation confirmations and follow up communication.
Manage student tour guide and host organization known as The Lamplighters. Select, train and supervise active and engaged student organization who serve an essential purpose in the enrollment and retention of Baldwin students. Coordinate all Lamplighter availability and assignments including daily tour and hosting responsibilities, outreach to prospective students, as well as attendance at open house events. Similar responsibilities required for Parent Volunteer Organization in support of enrollment events.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree required.
2-4 years of experience in event planning, admissions/enrollment management or related field required.
Experience in a non-profit, educational or closely related setting is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Experience with event planning and execution.
Attention to detail and extremely organized.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and set priorities to achieve goals/objectives.
A strong commitment to customer service.
Strong written and oral communication skills. Confidence speaking in small/large groups and with people from diverse backgrounds.
Marketing, sales, public relations experiences helpful. Comfort engaging in recruitment oriented communication.
Collaborative, problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to design and improve systems.
Ability to handle a high volume of high profile work.
Demonstrated ability to foster a cooperative, team-focused work atmosphere in a student-centered environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate volunteers.
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and various student information system technologies. Experience with Blackbaud preferred.
Knowledge of trends in enrollment event planning and an understanding of enrollment management preferred.
Availability nights and weekends for events as needed
General office and campus environment. Duties require employee to interact with students, parents, faculty, staff and other internal and external constituencies. Sitting, walking, standing, bending, twisting and occasional lifting required. Computer usage involving repetitive hand/wrist motion necessary.
