ESL teacher, teaching French and international students from abroad to acquire English proficiency in a bilingual French-English program.
The position is 50% (13 hours weekly of contact with students) + 7 hours for preparation and assessment of students.
The ESL teacher is part of the Student Support Team and works in collaboration with the classroom teachers.
Duties include teaching ESL to students from Kindergarten to 8th grade, in a pull-out and push-in format, assessment of students and meeting wit parents. The ESL teacher meets one hour weekly with the members of the student support team to ensure a thorough follow up of our students.
A degree in ESL and classroom experience, or a general subject credential with a specialization in teaching languages.
A minimum of four years of experience in the field.
French proficiency highly desired.
Additional Salary Information: 50% of health and dental benefits are provided in the contract agreement.
