The Annual Giving Coordinator will provide assistance to the Director of Annual Giving by aiding in all aspects of direct mail and electronic appeals, maintaining gift records and acknowledgments, and supporting the work of the annual giving volunteer network. He/she will also provide general office support.
Under the direction of the Director of Annual Giving, execute strategies to achieve annual giving goals.
Manage the non-reunion class agent program.
Manage young alumnae reunion classes – 5th, 10th and 15th
Generate regular annual giving reports to keep volunteers and staff informed of progress
Manage student philanthropy programs.
With the DAG, design and create annual appeal schedule and pieces.
Utilize full suite of social media tools to support annual giving appeal program and foster connections among donors and volunteers.
Create and manage electronic communications to alumnae and volunteers
Record Westover Fund gifts and manage gift acknowledgement program
With DAG, manage the annual giving prospect pipeline. Conduct analysis to support data-driven decisions about annual goals and targets.
Provide general office support including, assistance with event management, and office systems support.
Other duties as assigned.
A bachelor’s degree.
1-2 years of development experience; experience with annual giving preferred.
Strong organizational, analytical, and process management skills.
Must be highly computer literate, with capable use of Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel). Experience with Raiser’s Edge a plus
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate superior interpersonal skills and ability to manage relationships and multiple tasks with ease and be energetic, intellectually curious and a good listener.
Must possess superior organizational skills as well as an acumen for numbers
Should be equally capable of working independently and as part of a team
