The St. Andrew's Schools includes three divisions: the St. Andrew's Priory School for Girls, the St. Andrew's Preparatory School for Boys, and Queen Emma Preschool.
The Priory was founded by Queen Emma Kaleleonalani in 1867 at a time when classical education was unavailable to the majority of Hawaii’s young women. Since then, The Priory has prepared thousands of Hawaii's women for leadersh...ip, scholarship and service.
The newest of the divisions is the St. Andrew’s Preparatory School for Boys. Located on Queen Emma Square, The Prep offers single gender classes designed specifically for boys in Grades K-5. The Prep opened its doors to Kindergarten and First Grade students in the fall of 2014.
Queen Emma Preschool serves children ages 2 – 5 at its Pali Highway campus. Children are made ready to learn through play and appropriate developmental activities.
The three divisions of The St. Andrew’s School share a common goal: to live out Queen Emma’s mandate to “Strive for the Highest”. Striving for the highest may take different forms in the three divisions, but the outcomes are similar: building a community that is bonded by its love of learning, its sense of ‘ohana (family) and its royal and spiritual heritage. Each of the schools aims to send children out ready to thrive in their next environment.
