Newark Academy has an immediate opening for an assistant varsity tennis coach for both the girls’ (Fall) and boys’ (Spring) seasons.
The Newark Tennis program is traditionally one of the strongest programs in the state of New Jersey, winning the state championships with regularity. The successful applicant for this position will have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, a minimum of three years coaching experience (or collegiate or professional playing experience) and passion for field tennis. Additional opportunities will be available to the coach in the form of summer coaching opportunities.
The successful candidate will report to the head coach and athletic director.
Newark Academy is an independent day school located in Livingston, New Jersey, a 40 minute drive from mid-town Manhattan. Newark Academy is non-sectarian and coeducational. There are 580 students in the Upper and Middle Schools.
