Boston University Academy is seeking an Institutional Advancement Assistant beginning September 2017 for the 2017-2018 academic year. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Assistant Head of School for Institutional Advancement, with a focus on development and alumni relations efforts. The position is responsible for administrative tasks including producing gift acknowledgements, data entry, creating and running queries and analytical reports, and assisting with mailings. Additional responsibilities will include periodic support for advancement events, BU Academy’s 25th Anniversary Gala, and admission activities, as well as other development and alumni relations activities. The Institutional Advancement Assistant will report directly to the Assistant Head of School for Institutional Advancement.
This is a temporary (9-month duration), non-exempt, part-time position (approx. 20 hours a week) with the potential to become a permanent role in the future.
