Milton Academy, established in 1798, is an independent coeducational international boarding and day school, serving 1,000 students in grades K-12 on a 125 acre campus eight miles south of Boston.
Milton Academy is seeking an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. This coach will help develop and implement both in-season and off-season strength, speed, and conditioning programs for many of the varsity athletic teams. Programs include teaching Olympic and Power Lifts, Speed and Agility Development, Flexibility and Mobility Concepts, and Metabolic Conditioning.
Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree, be CPR certified, and have previous experience working with high school athletes in a strength and conditioning environment. Preference for candidates that hold a CSCS certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, or a similar certification. Membership in the National Strength and Conditioning Association a plus. Hours for this position are 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Milton Academy is a member of the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) and participates in the Independent School League (ISL).
