The nurse is responsible for assessing the health status of children in the identification and prevention of illnesses and for providing general healthcare.
Create, communicate, and facilitate all medical policies and procedures to students, faculty, and parents, including but not limited to food, field trips, and day-to-day on campus activities.
Oversee and facilitate school compliance with all state regulations and mandates.
Maintains student immunization and other medical records on each student.
Confers with students, parents, and teachers regarding medical treatment. This includes monitoring, providing assistance, and administering of medication.
