St. John’s Preparatory School is seeking a detailed oriented professional who is willing to ask questions and think outside of the box. Reporting to the Managing Director of Development, the Coordinator of Gift Administration will handle and prioritize all day-to-day gift processing activities for the Office for Institutional Advancement. The ideal candidate should possess the skills to work in a fast-paced office environment and the desire to work as part of a team. Occasional weekend and evening hours may be required.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Plan and implement the consistent, accurate and timely processing and accounting of all gifts.
Ensure accurate processing and acknowledgement of all gifts.
Reconcile batches with Raiser’s Edge and prepare for daily deposit.
Work closely with the Director of Information Services on data transfers and updates.
Work closely with members of the Finance team on booking and reporting revenue as well as contribute to success of annual auditors’ review.
Oversee pledge reminder process.
Develop a strong professional relationship with the school’s finance and information services staff.
Ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation with finance.
Establish and maintain donor acknowledgement services for timely reporting of gifts. Work with institutional advancement staff to maintain strong donor relations.
Generate lists and reports.
Assume additional responsibilities as required.
Qualified candidates will have two to three years of experience in advancement services and a bachelor’s degree. Raiser’s Edge experience is required. Raiser’s Edge NXT experience is a plus. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. The ability to effectively manage time and multiple tasks is essential.
