POSITION OBJECTIVE: Develop, implement and maintain an effective planning and analysis capability that will provide senior leadership with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance, including review of capital spending projects, tuition revenue, other revenue and use of operating funds. Manage school-wide budgeting of revenue and expenses.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize and prepare financial plans, budgets and operating forecasts.
Manage all aspects of the annual budget process by creating budget templates, gathering input from division and program heads, the master timeline for the process.
Support CFO in reporting operating results to the Finance Committee and Board of Trustees on a regular basis. Participates as a leader of the finance team; influencing decision making, identifying finance priorities.
Develop and maintain a financial planning model in conjunction with the school’s strategic plan and long-range financial needs.
Maintain relationships with banking institutions.
Assist CFO with annual commercial insurance renewal
Set up all bank transfers
Maintain knowledge of best practices with other ISAS schools.

Experience managing a multi-million dollar budget. Able to generate customized reports in Blackbaud’s FE software. Ability to analyze and organize complex sets of information and present ideas and numbers clearly (written and verbal). Ability to analyze data and, with prior business experience, either explain why the numbers make sense or communicate with the appropriate staff as to why the numbers don’t make sense. A team player with strong interpersonal skills to communicate productively and professionally with business office colleagues, as well as the entire school community and wide variety of school constituents. Prior experience in an educational environment is a plus. Flexibility in work schedule, as needed. A four-year degree in Business Administration, CPA or MBA preferred. Minimum of five years of professional finance experience required preferably in a for profit business.

Works at desk and computer screen for extended periods of time.
Turns, bends, reaches and may occasionally use a ladder.
Be able to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs
Works in a traditional climate controlled office environment.
