The main areas of focus for this leadership position include recruitment, admissions, and enrollment management for preschool through fifth grade.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The admissions specialist at Rivendell will communicate with the following expectations:
timeliness, professionalism, accuracy, and friendliness. The Admissions Specialist will be responsible for school-wide and community communications.
Organization and Record Keeping:
The Admissions Specialist at Rivendell will demonstrate high levels of organization and efficiency in the following areas:
Electronic files – server
Student files and database support
Interactions with Parents and Rivendell Stakeholders
Parents at Rivendell are an integral part of the community. The Admissions Specialist must also provide excellent customer service to parents during tours and when they have questions or need help.
Support for Principal of Rivendell
The Admissions Specialist must have a big-picture view of the operations of the school and organization. The Admissions Specialist must work closely with the Principal to understand the goals and vision for the operations of the school. Together the Admissions Specialist and the Principal will guide families through the enrollment process.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of email, file sharing, file storage, google drive (docs, presentations, spreadsheets, etc.), and any other technology as requested by Rivendell Administration. Experience with Student Information Systems and Excel are a plus.

Additional Salary Information: The Admissions Specialist will have 7 days of PTO during the school year between the first day of school and the last day of school.
The Admissions Specialist will have all breaks that align with the Rivendell Calendar. The Admission Specialist will be required to work during the summer. During the summer, the Admissions Specialist will get 15 additional days off.
