Berwick Academy, a PK-12 coeducational day school located in Southern Maine seeks a math teacher to join our Upper School Faculty. Ideal candidates would have the versatility to teach all levels of Upper School math, ranging from Geometry and Algebra 2 through Calculus, as well as an interest in helping to design more innovative math classes in the future. A qualified candidate will show strong evidence of exceptional teaching and a keen understanding of the developmental needs of high school students. A collaborative teaching approach and instructional leadership skills among peers are also hallmarks of a successful candidate. As a member of the Upper School Faculty, candidates can expect to teach four classes, serve as an advisor and coach two seasons of sports or lead equivalent afternoon responsibilities.
