The School Registrar creates the academic schedule for students in Kindergarten through Grade Nine and teaching schedules for the faculty. The Registrar ensures that schedules meet the educational program goals for class sizes and course offerings, while also maintaining balanced teaching loads for faculty. The School Registrar reports to the Director of the Educational Program. This is a full-time position and is eligible for benefits.
Serving as the information conduit among school offices during the student enrollment process by ensuring timely, accurate, and effective communication between the Office of Admission, the Business Office, the Director of the Educational Program, and the Academic Department Chairs
Creating student, teacher, and classroom schedules for three academic divisions
Fulfilling the responsibilities of internal website management roles, including:
Academic Group Manager - Managing the student enrollment process, placement, and final course enrollments
Faculty and Room Scheduler - Facilitating and documenting section and staffing models
Grading Manager - Organizing and managing the system for grading and gradebooks
Advisory Group Manager and Activity Group Manager - Maintaining data for cross-divisional systems
Managing annual rollover tasks for academic placements and student status
Supporting school-wide requests for data and data processing
Managing student transcripts
Training and assisting faculty on entering grades and comments for report cards
Serving as the School’s Principal Designated School Official with SEVIS – Updating certification forms to reflect each international student’s current enrollment status

The School Registrar must be skillful in managing and manipulating data. He or she must hold a bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of three years’ experience working with Blackbaud Education Edge, Whipple Hill website tools, and/or equivalent applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, and the ability to collaborate effectively with parents and faculty is essential. This position requires sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve complex problems efficiently and effectively. Discretion in handling confidential materials is expected.
