Parker School seeks a Full-time Long term Substitute Spanish Teacher to instruct upper school students in a college-preparatory environment. This faculty member will teach two sections each of Spanish Level 2 and 3, and one section of Spanish Level 5.
Qualifications for this position include a bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred), prior experience in a Spanish teaching position, and Spanish language fluency as determined by ACTFL standards. A Spanish teaching certificate from an accredited program is preferred.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: willingness and ability to learn, participate, and be active in a private school community; strong problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, and teamwork skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills; self motivated with high work standards and attention to detail.
