The Systems Administrator (SA) is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related structures. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This position works with the Director of Technology and Department Leads to define needed, benefits and technical strategy. Part of this position’s role is to install, configure, and maintain desktops, tablets, laptops, peripheral equipment, and software. Additionally, the SA oversees and contributes to Help Desk operations in an effort to ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolutions of end user issues.
A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field (or equivalent experience)
At least 5 years’ experience in technology-related work, preferably academic technology.
An ability to work in a collaborative, efficient, collegial work team.

Additional Salary Information: Competitive compensation is commensurate with skills and experience. This full-time position requires some evenings and weekends.
