We are currently seeking an Upper School Chemistry teacher to cover a long-term leave from mid-March 2018 until early June 2018 (likely dates are 3/12/18 - 6/8/18). This position entails teaching 4 sections of Upper School chemistry, including 1 section of Chemistry, 2 sections of Honors Chemistry, and 1 section Advanced (AP) Chemistry.
Content knowledge of chemistry
Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of teaching techniques
Demonstrated ability to supervise safe and appropriate high school chemistry labs
Aptitude for and comfort with teaching students of a diverse range of backgrounds and ability levels
Willingness to work and collaborate with other science teachers in the Upper School
Strong communication skills
A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
