Position Description: Under supervision of the Director of Advancement, this individual maintains the development and communications databases and provides administrative support for the Advancement Office. This person deals with confidential information, runs a variety of reports, keeps files and records current, provides general office support, and handles special projects, as needed including special events planning, community relations, donor stewardship, and social media. In addition, this person will assist in the production of numerous print and electronic communications, and will help maintain the integrity of The Howard School brand.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Minimum Qualifications
Minimum three (3) years development experience required, with annual fund or alumni relations experience preferred.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in all school matters, including donor and volunteer information
Ability to relate to donors, volunteers and suppliers in a sensitive and professional way
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team and willingness to take on responsibilities beyond those explicitly assigned.
Experience in Donor Connect preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
Experience in independent school setting preferred.
Good interpersonal skills.
Impeccable verbal and written communication skills, along with proven organizational skills, particularly related to office procedures.
