Greenwood Friends School is seeking a Head of School to begin July 2018. Located in idyllic rural Pennsylvania amid rolling hills and farms, Greenwood offers pre-K through 8th education in a tight-knit community centered on Quaker values of simplicity, peace, integrity, equality, and stewardship. Our highly innovative teachers have developed a number of unique educational programs, including a food forest classroom, kitchen science classes, Spanish instruction in all grades, and thematic programming such as Walk in the Woods. The school has seen a 31% enrollment increase over last year with nearly 90% retention, and will be celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2018. Greenwood is under the care of Millville Monthly Meeting and the Upper Susquehanna Quarterly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends.
