Lexington Christian Academy currently serves 300 day and boarding students in grades 6 through 12 and is New England’s oldest independent Christian college preparatory school. The campus is located 30 minutes from downtown Boston and was founded with the belief that faith and learning are key and inseparable components of education. LCA is one of only 12 of the 2,000+ ACSI schools that have achieved an “exemplary” accreditation. LCA is also recognized as a strong competitor among all of the outstanding college preparatory schools in the Boston area.
The next Head of Lexington Christian Academy must be a committed, mature believer who understands Christian education and has a track record of accomplishment. This leader needs to be a person who inspires and motivates staff, promotes spiritual growth in the life of the school, has a commitment to academic excellence, has strong executive management skills, and can implement strategy for long-term enrollment and endowment growth. In sum, LCA’s next Head of School needs to possess the executive management and strategic thinking skills to lead an already excellent school to be even better.
