Walnut Hill School for the Arts seeks a dynamic educator to teach one section of Anatomy and Physiology in the spring semester. Anatomy and Physiology is an elective class reserved for seniors who have already successfully completed an introductory Biology class. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Health Sciences and/or Science Education, and/or relevant teaching experience.
Teach Monday through Friday for 70 minutes each day
Develop and implement curricular materials that are engaging and foster students’ learning and growth
Assess student understanding and performance using a diverse set of approaches
Provide students and families with continual feedback via the school learning management system and written comments.
Respond to individual student needs and provide support as needed
Position begins on January 26, 2018 and ends June 12, 2018, with a break from March 10th - March 26th. Interested candidates will submit their resume and cover letter to email@example.com. Compensation is $8,000. No phone calls.
