The Lab School of Washington is a private independent school in Washington, DC for children with learning differences. We are currently seeking a full-time classroom assistant for the Intermediate program, serving grades fifth and sixth grades beginning in January 2018. Classroom assistants work as part of a team under the supervision of a master teacher providing daily instruction in the areas of reading, writing, and math to a small group of students.
Candidate must have at least a B.A., education degree preferred. Preferred candidate will have experience teaching students with learning disabilities. Strong interpersonal skills, organization and flexibility are desired.
