Summary of Position: The school seeks a Human Resource Assistant who is involved in the community and dedicated to carrying out the mission of the school. This position is a part-time, 12-month, non-exempt staff position. This position will report to the Director of Finance and Operations. The HR Assistant will handle a wide variety of administrative functions and must be able to independently and accurately manage multiple projects, while maintaining and upholding confidential documentation and information.
Job Details: Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Keep updated calendar of all deadlines and required tasks
Complete all reporting requests on/before deadline
Maintain organized and accurate employee files (both electronically through Sentric and physically in paper form)
Maintain and update HR checklist
Prepare, organize and send new hire paperwork
Prepare and organize exit paperwork
Assist with all documentation pertaining to employee agreements, wage adjustments
Maintain updated health insurance records
Maintain annual employee review documentation
Coordinate faculty absences, class coverage and secure substitute teachers as needed
Coordinate all temporary employment needs
Assist with internship and volunteer paperwork and maintain files
