The Purnell School is seeking an enthusiastic part time dance teacher from January 8, 2018 to February 16, 2018 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays between the hours of 4pm and 6pm. (Classes could be 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 min depending on availability.)
Candidates will have experience teaching high school students of mixed levels from beginner to advanced in the same class and have background in at least two of the following styles: Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and/or Tap. The ideal candidate will be able to commit to 4 days a week and teach a variety of those styles. However, candidates who are able to commit to at least two of the four days a week will be considered. Choreography experience is a plus.
Candidates studying dance in college will be considered.
Bachelor’s degree in dance or related field highly desirable.
Reliable transportation needed.
Hourly compensation based on experience.
