Founded in 1894, The Culver Academies, a co-educational, independent boarding school composed of three entities: Culver Military Academy (CMA) for boys, Culver Girls Academy (CGA), and the Culver Summer Schools and Camps (CSSC), seeks an experienced admission professional for the position of Director of Enrollment Management. Situated on 1700 acres, The Culver Academies are located in North Central Indiana on the shores of picturesque Lake Maxinkuckee in the town of Culver, 2 hours from Chicago and Indianapolis. Reporting to the Head of School, the Director of Enrollment Management oversees recruitment and admissions efforts for Culver Military Academy (CMA) for boys, Culver Girls Academy (CGA), and the Culver Summer Schools and Camps (CSSC), directly manages a staff of 11, is a member of the Administrative Team, and works closely with the Board of Trustees. The overall goal for the Director is to build on the Enrollment Management and Admission Office’s strengths, maintain optimal enrollment, provide leadership and implement a strategic enrollment vision of a school that is academically challenging, committed to diversity, focused on character and leadership development and situated on a beautiful and unusually well-equipped campus. The Director of Enrollment Management plays a vital role in the Culver Academy community and will be expected to strengthen the enrollment management infrastructure by implementing strategies to ensure that the Office achieves the enrollment goals set by the Board of Trustees and Head of School.
Successful candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree (Masters degree preferred), five years of admission and financial aid experience, a strong commitment to a boarding school, superior communication skills, superior interpersonal, organizational and managerial skills, high energy, flexibility, warmth, sense of humor, and must be a team player.
