The Isidore Newman School is seeking a dynamic, collaborative, and inspiring educator to serve as the Head of Lower School. At the heart of the role of the Head of Lower School is the goal of fostering a true learning community. Above all, the Head of Lower School should be an educator who loves children and is dedicated to seeing young learners thrive in a joyful, engaging environment. The Isidore Newman School is an early childhood through 12th grade day school of 1030 students (PK-12) in the heart of New Orleans. Compensation and benefits will be competitive. The successful candidate will ideally have five to seven years of teaching and administrative experience at the Lower School level; a graduate degree; a passion for working with children and their families; and the ability to lead and inspire an exemplary faculty.
