The Blake School seeks to hire an exceptional leader in physical education as a PK-8 Physical Education Chair. At Blake, we believe that physical education teaches students the value of physical activity for health, enjoyment, self-expression and social collaboration. In addition, Physical Education provides students with the knowledge, concepts and principles to lead and maintain a healthy lifestyle long beyond their years at Blake. The curriculum reflects an embedded wellness program, technology integration (including Seesaw in Lower School and heart rate monitoring in Middle School), and the ongoing opportunity to design learning experiences that allow students to develop global and intercultural competence.
