Scheck Hillel Community School located in sunny South Florida has an opening for a High School Director for the 2018/2019 academic year.
Reporting to the CAO, this member of our Administrative team will have responsibilities that include the oversight of both the strategic and day-to-day activities and assignments of the High School faculty and staff; provide an environment conducive to learning, a school climate which is supportive and that both establishes and reflects teaming and collaboration; managing a high school of approximately 300 students to include recruiting/retaining exceptional faculty, and managing budgets, prepare master schedules, and assist in the admission process.

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a masters degree in a related field, significant experience in a senior leadership role managing a high school environment including at least 5 years of classroom teaching experience, excellent interpersonal, collaborative, communication, organizational, problem solving, and customer service skills. Must be flexible and able to work within a demanding environment where developing positive community relations and a commitment to lifelong learning is critical. Educator Certification and Spanish fluency a plus.
