The Middle School Administrative Coordinator position is a 12 month, full time (35 hours per week), non-exempt position that may occasionally require evening and weekend hours. The Coordinator will report directly to the Director of the Middle School.
The Middle School Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for the execution of all duties related to the successful operation of the Middle School. Duties range in two distinct but important areas. They include but are not limited to the following:
Collaborating with others:
Acting as a resource for students and their parents
Supporting the faculty
Covering the reception desk
Serving as Administrative Assistant to the Director of the Middle School
Communicating with parents, faculty and students both digitally and in person
Collaborating with the MS Community Service Faculty representative
Technology and Organization:
Oversee the administrative duties of the Middle School: attendance, supplies, mail, buses, communication with parents, files, transcripts, grades and progress reports, student course registration, events, newsletters, etc.
Assist the Middle School Registrar
Organize Community Service program for Middle School students
Organize and help maintain the Team Drive for the Middle School Faculty
The qualified candidate must have the following qualifications:
Three years’ experience in a school office environment
Strong organization and communication skills.
Experience with Blackbaud Educational Edge software
Technological proficiency. Experience with Google Apps for Education is a must.
Strong database experience and ability to produce reports
Effective interpersonal skills, confidence and initiative, and problem-solving ability
A sense of professionalism, a good listener, empathetic and kind
