We are looking for a Part Time High School Science Teacher for Grades 9-12 to teach biology for the 2017-2018 school year at our Brooklyn school. This position is from 10:30-12:00 daily.
Primary/Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Head Teacher will design and maintain a classroom environment that facilitates active, hands-on learning, group management, self-expression and choice, and inclusion of all students, parents, volunteers and staff.
Communicate with parents and school counselors on student progress.
Participates in various student and parent activities which occur in school including PTA and student clubs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with intention to complete a Master’s Degree in Science or related field.
1-2 Years of teaching experience in a high school environment.
