All Saints Episcopal School seeks an innovative mathematics teacher to inspire students to have an appreciation and understanding for mathematics. The candidate should be comfortable teaching all levels of Upper School mathematics and have the ability to engage students in meaningful inquiry, critical thinking, problem solving and collaborative exploration. Additional opportunities for involvement in the All Saints community include leading an advisory, sponsoring a club and coaching. Teachers at All Saints are expected to have a strong commitment to the students and the school community, working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting all aspects of school life.
Qualities of the ideal candidate are:
A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, with an advanced degree preferred
At least two years of teaching experience, preferably in independent schools
Experience in differentiating instruction to accommodate different learning styles
Experience with technology as a tool for engaging students
