The Winsor School is an independent girls’ school for academically promising and motivated students in grades five through twelve. Winsor has an immediate opening for an Annual Giving Coordinator to join a dynamic Advancement team at an exciting time in the school’s history. The Annual Giving Coordinator helps manage the successful operation of Winsor’s annual giving program, which reaches over $3M each year and is poised for growth. Together with the Director of Annual Giving, s/he works closely with volunteers and the Advancement team to ensure appropriate planning and execution of annual giving strategies. Key responsibilities include coordinating volunteer activities, project management for direct marketing, and managing the prospect timeline.
Reports to: Director of Annual Giving
Work closely with Director of Annual Giving to prepare for Annual Giving Committee meetings, organize agendas, create materials, and coordinate meeting follow up.
Oversee volunteer recruitment and management for alumnae and parent volunteer programs, and serve as point person for all AG volunteer activities.
Coordinate annual volunteer briefing event.
With input from Director of Annual Giving and Assistant Director of Communications, serve as project manager for annual appeals, managing internal and external deadlines and organizing input from key stakeholders.
Work with staff to oversee appeal process, from generating mailing lists to checking data and coordinating process with other Advancement staff members.
Regularly prepare internal and external reports with a high level of accuracy.
Conduct analysis to support annual goals and targets.
Working with Director of Annual Giving, oversee logistics for Annual Giving events such as committee meetings, faculty/staff giving celebration, and the annual leadership giving dinner.
Work with Operations team to ensure appropriate planning and implementation of systems and strategies as related to the Annual Giving program.
Organize and assist in mailings, prepare customized letters, and follow up on gifts as necessary.
With Director of Annual Giving, manage program budget.
Coordinate efforts to develop prospect targets and achieve Annual Giving goals with Major Gifts team.

In addition, the following qualifications are preferred:
A bachelor’s degree
2-4 years of professional experience; experience with fundraising and/or volunteer management preferred.
Demonstrated excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills; must be able to effectively communicate across different audiences and with various constituents.
Proficiency with CRM databases as well as Excel and Windows; experience with Raiser’s Edge preferred.
Integrity and trust with a demonstrated ability to manage highly confidential information; must be able to evaluate problems accurately and display good, sound, and confidential judgment in developing solutions.
Experience developing volunteer relationships, and motivating and leading teams of volunteers and/or other stakeholders.
Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and have the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
