Randolph School is seeking a full time Spanish teacher to begin August 2018.
The ideal candidate is a native or near-native Spanish speaker, can teach students at every level of Spanish, including Advanced Placement, and is committed to offering students an inspiring, language-learning experience.
Applicants should have at least a BA degree in Spanish, teaching experience and training in Foreign Language education. Requirements include fully-fluent language usage, excellent pronunciation, ability to teach totally in the target language, a firm understanding of Spanish syntax, vocabulary and culture, classroom management skills, collegiality, and a keen desire to work with young people.
Teaching experience in a rigorous, college preparatory program at the high school level and a passionate desire to contribute to co-curricular activities, especially in athletics and/or the arts will be given additional consideration. This position may include the opportunity for departmental leadership.
