Evolution of the Role:
From January to June 2018 the successful candidate will be working part time (50%), designing the Mandarin program and curriculum that will launch in the 2018/19 year. We are committed to opening a 3K/4K class and a 5K/Gr. 1 class and may open a Gr. 2-3 or a Gr. 4-5 as well. During this time we will be developing the curriculum, purchasing resources, marketing the program and setting up the classroom spaces.
During the 2018-19 year the position will still be a part time coordinator role and will add a teaching role to make it full time. The teacher role will be working with the 5K-Gr. 5 Mandarin classes and perhaps as the single subject teacher for Art, PE or Music.

Package: Teacher salary plus $5500 coordinator stipend
