The St. Andrew’s Teaching Fellowship Program is designed to provide creative and enthusiastic college graduates with a one year boarding school immersion experience which would include teaching a course, supervising dorms, coaching and/ or leading co-curricular activities. St. Andrew’s Teaching fellows develop the skills necessary for boarding school life in and out of the classroom through collaboration, and hands-on experience.
Successful candidates will teach a class, work in the dormitories, coach and/or lead activities and perform support tasks throughout the community.
Enthusiastic interest in pursuing teaching in a boarding school environment after college.
Desire to learn from others and work in a collaborative environment.
Evidence of professionalism, openness to feedback and strong work ethic.
College Degree relating directly to the department in which the fellow will be teaching.
Employment is contingent upon receipt of a national and state criminal records check, including fingerprinting, indicating no disqualifying information has been found.
While we may be seeking a variety of candidates, those interested in teaching Spanish are encouraged to apply.
