All Saints’ Episcopal Day School, in Central Phoenix, is seeking a Lower School teacher beginning in the fall of 2018. The candidate for this full-time position will join an exceptional and talented faculty and will work with students who are bright, motivated, and engaging.
A qualified candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education (advanced study and/or Master’s degree is preferred) and at least two years of elementary classroom teaching experience. Creativity, passion for learning, and a positive attitude are desired as well as the ability to maintain a structured learning environment within a student-centered classroom. Because the specific grade-level opening has not yet been determined, the ideal candidate should have experience at multiple grade levels and demonstrate flexibility in regards to the final grade placement. Additionally, he or she should have strong technology skills to integrate technology into the curriculum. The candidate will be expected to participate in committees as encouraged by the administration, provide after-school tutorials to students on a regular basis, be available to students and parents before and after school, and may be assigned other duties by the Head of School.
Additional Salary Information: Salary negotiable, with years of experience and educational level considerations. Credit for full-time teaching experience is one-year credit for one-year teaching, etc.
