For the Senior Accountant position, we seek a motivated self-starter to help manage the accounting operations in the Business Office of the School. This individual must be organized, detail-oriented, a team player with a sense of humor, and have the ability to be flexible and multi task with accuracy. The primary responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include reconciliation of general ledger accounts, cash management and management of school credit card accounting, data entry for gift and investment accounting as well as most of the monthly journal entries. The Senior Accountant will be called upon to work with the Controller and Assistant Controller to assist with various reports and projects including financial statement preparation and the annual audit. The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Controller. This is a full-time, 12-month staff position.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years related experience, and preferably and accounting degree. Strong computer skills, including Excel are necessary. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems, such as Senior Systems, is a plus.
