The Athletic Department at Emma Willard School is seeking an Assistant Coach for its Varsity crew team. The Assistant Coach will support the Head Coach in the delivery of the crew program. This position will report to the Varsity Crew Head Coach and will also work with the Athletic Trainer and Athletic Director as directed by the Head Coach.
Candidates must have an excellent understanding of crew, as well as very strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. The candidate should also have strong organizational skills. A passion for hard work, an active sense of community, and sense of humor are preferred. Ability to drive a coaches launch a must. Candidates should be First Aid/CPR certified.
This position is a short-term appointment commencing around mid-March and concluding by late May.
