Belmont Hill School is seeking a full-time Health and Wellness Educator to begin in August, 2018. Candidates should have a background in working with students in grades seven through twelve as well as a willingness and excitement to teach in each of these grades. The core of the position is to further develop, and deliver, a health curriculum, and to coordinate all health-related education within the school. Belmont Hill maintains considerable program in each of these areas, but there is an opportunity and expectation for further development. This is a full-time faculty position and would include leadership within Belmont Hill’s community service program. The ability to oversee additional extracurricular activities may accompany this position. At least three years of school experience, an advanced degree, and an appreciation for all-boys’ education are important as well.
Belmont Hill School occupies 29 acres in Belmont, MA, a suburb 20 minutes west of Boston. With a faculty of 65 men and women, the School offers a rigorous college preparatory curriculum for 440 boys in grades 7 – 12.
